I received a call this morning with a very accusatory person named Katie about a subscription that I never order that has been turned over to a collection agency. I told her that I had never ordered, nor received, anything from Progressive Business Reports. She said that they had certified phone records and confirmed mail delivery to the company address. I have requested copies of these along with an invoice that I never received. I will be reporting them to the BBB and to the FTC as well
The call I received is the exact same as those seen on previous posts. I have reported the International Credit Recovery Agency, or whoever they claim to be, to the Better Business Bureau, looked into reporting them to the FBI and econsumer.gov but didn't see how this fit when on their websites.

Cynthia Thompson called my office threatening to put some charge on my credit personally because of some Supervisor publication they send us. I did not order the publication. She said a person spoke with me & I gave all my personal information. She was very rude to my receptionist. She couldn't give me any of my personal information & I didn't order anything.
I received a call from this number from a woman named Katie. She is very rude! I told her she needed to fax us a copy of this "bill" and we would look into the matter and verify the debt. She then became very belligerent, and stated "You're just a receptionist, you have no say in anything". FYI, just because someone answers the phone it doesn't mean they are "just a receptionist" and guess what? You will not get past this "receptionist" to harass anyone else at my company!
