Recieved a call from this number 6082991479( Wisc. phone number) each time i ask who it is I get a different name. however this time when he asked for my husband I got a call back 515-462-8727. Reverse look up shows Iowa Landline.
A message from this number was left on my machine. The beginning of the message was cheap sounding music as if from a tape recorder and then a guy said, "Hello, hello, hello" in a playful tone like it was somebody I knew.
These folks have called repeatedly for a year or so. I believe the claim was they were associated with some firefighters. When asked about how they differ to other groups, they started to shoot down the other groups. These folks have got to be scamming. Called back and got a "this mailbox is full and cannot receive new messages at this time".
Found more information. Apparently that number has phone service provided from the US XCHANGE OF WISCONSIN LLC AKA Choice One Communications AKA One Communications. The phone provider may be contacted at (888)832-5801. The phone provider has a website of www.choiceonecom.com.
