Received the call tonight at about 11:30 p.m. from 608-555-0146. Since I have caller ID display service, didn't even bother to answer. I'm on the no-call list, and this call is in a clear violation of the policies.
Caller said his name was Daniel (India accent) and was from Microsoft and he was there to help me fix my problem on my computer. I have had at least 5 calls over the past year. Same voice, different phone number. I told him this is a scam and hung up.
I marked prank call, however, I am 100% sure it was a straight scam of some kind.
I AM GETTING THESE CALLS ALL THE TIME THEY ALWAYS HAVE A555 PREFIX FROM DIFFERENT AREA CODES I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST AND STILL GET WAY TO MANT OF THESE CALLS. THESE PEOPLE THAT CALL NEED TO HAVE A ID SHOW UP ON CALLER ID SO WE CAN FIND THEM AND USE THE LAW TO STOP TIS CRAP FOR GOOD. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED AND THIS CRAP.
