I got the exact same call from Matt at Marketing Capital. Very unprofessional so I knew something wasn't right. So glad I found this posting. Won't waste my time calling that idiot back.
I had a voicemail from Matt at 610-230-0254 on April 14th, 2010. Sound quality was bad, and I could not understand the name of the company--like Tristan said in the post above, it sounded like *unintelligible* Capital Management.
When I called him back that evening, I got the voicemail of a recruiter named Matt Marcinek, who works for Marketing Capital Management (which is, apparently, either owned by or is a division of Human Capital Management). Left him a voicemail (evening of 4/14/2010), and then another on 4/15/2010. Didn't get a call back from him, so I'd agree with 'baz' and 'anonymous' that the guy is, at the very least, unprofessional.
I don't mind hearing from recruiters if they really have a job I might be qualified for, but leaving a message for me, and then not responding to my voicemails, is unprofessional.
