These jerks kept calling all my phone numbers!

Received two calls from these guys back-to-back. Hint to others: Companies and telemarketers believe they have the upper hand, and they do. Because the constitution does NOT guarantee privacy, except in the case of having the right to be "left alone by the government" (which is not honoured). Companies believe they have no restrictions on their ability to invade your privacy and keep all manner of records about you (which the government can then buy on the open market, circumventing any privacy issues they would have if they collected the info themselves). Complaining about it on here here will do no good.

Our government needs to be rebooted. Don't relect ANY politician. Keep voting them out till we finally get good representation, or else REVOLT. This is what the Constitution tells us to do, and guarantees as a right. Tea party time!

The UN Declaration of Human Rights guarantees every individual on earth the right to privacy. It's time Americans had this right also, and we must demand it from our government, or revolt if we do not get it. Otherwise, you have no basis for complaint (or so they believe, and that's all they need to keep harassing you).

I received a call to my cell today, didn't pick up.  I'm currently a happy customer of 1and1.com.  After reading these posts, my guess is they are the current 'owner' of said phone number...just not sure why they called.

I would also agree that we need to make sure the government knows that We The People, should be allowed our privacy.  We're the ones who keep any and all companies in business, so why do we feel like the victim?  Because we're allowing it.   If you do nothing, say nothing.

I got a call just 15 minutes ago from a gal wanting to know if I got my new phone book.... I asked her were would it be as I have been away for the holidays..... She said look on the front porch. I did... told her I didn't see it.... Then she said that's ok and hung up.?? Thought It was kinda weird so I headed for the laptop....
