i was told m husband had arrest warrants agaiNst him for fraud.The caller was Officer SHAWN MARSHAL FROM LEGAL DEPT OF STATE.? DOES ANYTHING LIKE THAT EXIST..?? HIS DEPUTY WAS RON DAVIS N THEY WANTED ME TO PAY SOME AMOUNT PENDING AS NON PAYMENT OF TAXES DUE TO THE GOVT ON BEHALF OF MY HUSBAND...I QUESTIONED HIM ABOUT THE ADDRESS WHERE HE HAD SENT THE LEGAL NOTICE TO (SUPPOSEDLY MY HOME) WHERE HE FALTERED AND I HAD MY CPA ON THE OTHER LINE ALL ALONG...APPARENTLY THESE BUGGERS HAVE A NETWORK OPERATING FRM VARIOUS STATES AS THEY R USING DIFFERENT NOS. TO CALL DIFFERENT PEOPLE.. SHOULD THEY BE BLESSED AWAY WITH MORE INTELLIGENCE OR BE DAMNED..?
Its against the law to impersonate a officer for a start! This smacks of scam! And a officer does not collect for the IRS,, which would send you notice via the snail mail! I don't believe the irs turns this over to a 3rd party collector either!

Got this call today. I was scared at first after listening to the message. Decided to lookup if it was a scam and was glad it is. It said officer David Johnson, that I have 3 charges against me and a arrest warrant. They claimed to call from Federal Investigation Department. I know people have said that police cannot do anything against it but I feel like pursuing and getting them caught....hopefully.
