I am a PPL customer and I called the service number for them. PPL stated they are a supplier trying to get people to change suppliers. PPL also stated that listen to what they have to say and if the price is lower then go ahead and switch. When I got a call back from that number (they also said he was with ppl (they are not in anyway affiliated with PPL)). I asked what the price was and it was less then .01 cents of a difference. I told them not to call and that was it. The guy said his name was noel crespi.
I work in an office....they want to sell you voice mail I believe..I just pic up receiver and let drop.
On a post I read recently...the poster said he told the caller he would go get the person in charge and just let the phone sit...the person at other end was mumbling and waiting .....waiting for someone who was never coming.
When I am home and I am able........i pick up the phone and put loud music to the ear piece. Do that a few times and calls stop!!! For me they did.
Caller ID said "Sixtel LLC" but no message was left. I assure you it is NOT from PPL because as a former employee I know that PPL does not pull that kind of crap. I suggest you just ignore the calls. Never give out personal info to someone you do not know. If you want to know anything about PPL rates, YOU CALL THEM. You can get competing rates from State sponsored websites. Take care and be safe.
