Computerized voice telling me that my Wells Fargo credit card was stolen/frozen (couldn't make out which) and to press 1 for more information. I have never held an account at Wells Fargo. I pressed 0 to reach an operator and got disconnected. Repeated attempts to call back have only met a busy signal. More than likely just an automated system running through a list of numbers trying to find those few gullible people.
Similar experience to this guy. Repeated return calls always come up busy.
The phone number is registered to Comm Tech in Pennsylvania. Feel free to call them to complain. However, the secretary will simply laugh at you and tell you that it is a vacant extension.
I also got a recorded message about my "Wells Fargo Card" being frozen and to press 1 to unfreeze it. I just hung up since I have never had a Wells Fargo card. These guys suck and I hope everyone else hangs up on them too.
