This company calls 2 times per day and when you answer you get a recording of a woman with a British voice. It is a collection agency I believe. They are very rude and when I offered to make a payment if they sent me a statement they refused. They wanted my credit card number or checking account information over the phone. I refused to give it to them.
They call three times a day, starting at about 8:30am. It's a recording and no matter what number I press I can't get a person. They are not calling me. They say the call is for someone else and I keep trying to let them know that I am not that person.
That is a debt collector. I have no idea how they linked me to a girl I dated and her debt, but somehow they got my cell number. I do not deserve to be called for a debt that isn't mine.
I get a call from this number and several like it multiple times every day. The person the voice asks for I have never heard of. I cannot get anyone on their end.
There really should be some way to report and get legal action against these people.
That is true. I had no idea what the calls were about and there were a ton of hung up calls with no messages on my cellphone.
I called the number to see who was constantly calling and the lady told me I HAD to give her my own cell number first before she told me who was calling nonstop.
I have no debt to have collectors after me and I'm sure it's my dad's debt since he gives out my number for people to call. Lovely...
