The company continuously calls and never gives an option to speak with a person; only options are for the person there looking for or to be placed on hold to wait for them to answer the call. I purchased my phone and have been getting numerous random calls for Jennifer M., a person I do not know. I would really like to know how to block this number. They call early morning, afternoon, and the middle of the night! There calls are extremely disruptive!
All I read were idiots. You better know your laws before you start to complain. It is quite legal for a collection agency to call using an automated system. Also, they can call your cell phone if you give you number to the doctor or any public utility. If you dont want them to call, either answer the phone and state this or mail them a certified letter stating this.
Why on earth would a collection agency keep calling and leaving messages for my 11 year old son? They should be sued out of existence for not bothering to look who they are calling. I am going to look at my son's credit report and if there is anything there I will make sure everyone knows about the collection agency that put a black mark on a minor child's credit report. I'm sure there are plenty of lawyers who would want the case.
