Got a call from this morning, threatening to file a fraud complaint against me in court for a payday loan my ex took out in my name (thus the reason he is my ex). They did not identify the name of the company in the recording. Called the number back and got some thug sounding guy. Asked him the name of the company. He said it was Hilton Group LLC. That is the name of the famous hotel chain. Told him I would be filing a complaint against him for his illegal collection practices, and he said, "Well you need to pay your damn bills!" I received a call from this number on today at 11:53 am date 1/16/2013 saying that my name and ssn has been used in a fraudent matter and for me to call this number to avoid receving summons in my county or place of employment. I have no knowledge of this matter and would like for it to be investigated.

They called today, however, today they were under the name BAA & Associates. I told them before they even start flapping their lying lips, to send me the information on Company stationary, to include the name of original bill, the amount and any other information they have on it. I was told "We can not send you something like that, we are strictly electronic". I informed her it was my legal right to ask for it and they had the legal obligation to provide it within 30 days. Her final word was explain it to the judge. Did I mention 2 weeks ago they called regarding the same bill, from a different number, and I was told I would be served that day...Still waiting. Even told them I would meet them to pick up what it is they were gonna serve me. Hmmm SCAM much
I just received a call from this same company it was a recording saying the same things you all are saying, i am so sick of these scam artist, but i always let my boss know when i start getting these calls in the event she get these calls, i tell her its a scam, its like they must have some kind of list, after they see you arent going to give them money like that, they stop calling for a long while and then out of the blue they start up again, calling me.
Thank you for the info. I received the call today at work. Somewhat confused since it is a local area code. I will hopefully return the call, and demand the harassing phone call stop.
