Got a call from this morning, threatening to file a fraud complaint against me in court for a payday loan my ex took out in my name (thus the reason he is my ex). They did not identify the name of the company in the recording. Called the number back and got some thug sounding guy. Asked him the name of the company. He said it was Hilton Group LLC. That is the name of the famous hotel chain. Told him I would be filing a complaint against him for his illegal collection practices, and he said, "Well you need to pay your damn bills!" Well, I rec'd the same call as others - it is a SCAM - DO NOT FALL FOR IT - DO NOT CALL THEM BACK - DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION
And one more thing - they just called again - same infor - even the same bogus file number - BUT - they are calling using this number now 601-351-9603 SCAMS SCAMS SCAMS
they called me 6/17/2013 talking about their company is called baa I asked what did that stand for she asked me if I had a case with them I said no because I don't know who these people are and she hung up on me this is a scam because you cannot go to jail for a consumer debt and if you fradulant did something believe me you would not get a phone call you would legit court papers in the mail
