Received a robo call from a women this time -- 2 charges being brought against me--
No reach # or Case # - just recording then hung up!
These calls have been coming for months.....I am going to start calling everyone I
can -- Attorney General etc - and file harrassment charges against this # and any
other # they have called from. I have kept a log.
Please report this # to who ever you can.
Someone keeps calling treating me with from 6123544053. Recording says 2 fraudulent against me that my social security number and threaten me a summons will be sent if I don't contact them. I feel it is a scam or I would receive a letter in the mail. I know I have not committed fraud.
Total scam. If you'd committed some kind of fraud you'd hear about if from law enforcement, not from some scammy debt collector. There's no way anyone could have charges brought against a SSN. It's stupid. There are no summons. Just an attempt to scare you into paying a questionable or non-existent debt.
Ignore them and block their calls. If they try to talk to you yell at them and talk over them and tell them that you KNOW this is a scam and you are reporting them to the proper authorities.
I've received SEVERAL messages, pre recorded voice telling me that my case number is MNE33301, I will be served with a court summons unless I call them before that happens, if I don't call I give up my rights to deal with this outside of court. The recording gives a name "Scroggins", which is not my name. it's threatening and they're trying to intimidate me into returning the call. How could there be fraudulent activity linked to my name or social security number if I've never reported any fraudulent activity?? I've been upset by this all weekend, but now I'm just mad. I want to warn everyone that I can that this is a scam!! do not call back and never, never, NEVER give out your personal information. if they called you, they should already know your name.
