Almost had me fooled! They claimed to be from Experian financial, verifying my recent credit card activity. Very scarey how sophisticated their scam is. Do not, i repeat, do not give them any personal information, even though it seemed they already have a lot of my info already. Somehow.
The message says they are from Convergent Outsourcing a debt collector but doesn't say who they are trying to reach. They leave a call back number of 877-693-0017. After Googling, it appears there are many bad reviews reported and lawsuits against them for old debt, violating the do not call registry, etc.
