I got a text from this number stating my Wells Fargo card has been deactivated. I don't even bank with Wells Fargo. The text also showed a number 713-429-5659 and stated that I should call right away. The 713 number is a private landline from Katy, TX. I smell a scam and I'm not sure why these idiots think that anyone would respond to a junk text.

Here's the message I just received in the Portland, Oregon area:
WELLS FARGO ALERT: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at: 503-877-6625.
Received a text message from # 612-812-3874 that said: WELLS FARGO ALERT: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 503-877-6625.
I called the real Wells Fargo # 800-642-4720 and that message is a fraud per Wells Fargo as the representative indicated that they would never notify a cardholder by text message.
