This company called to "fix my pc". Total scam from the start of the call. Very persistent and insisted I needed their unsolicited help. Called again 2 days later, did not answer.
Just got the Microsoft virus call. Second time in two days. Told him I wasn't paying for any scam, and to get a job his mother would be proud of. We'll see!
I answered, thinking it was an overseas call (showed up as "V73018233200078") Initially there was dead air, and maybe a buzzing sound. I said "hello" a second time and somebody responded. He said it was the Computer Repair Company (or something like that). I told him he must have the wrong number, because I had not called them. The guy hung up. I suspect it was going to be some kind of scam...
