Same guy called me today. He said that he was calling from the Revenue Office and his name was Austin Smith, although he had a South East Asian accent. He mentioned his "Badge number" was BS9320 and his CRA employee number was 31129. He even gave me a case number.
called received 04/15/2016 @4.37 PM, guy introduced himself as a tax enforcement officer (Colling John-with oriental accent) and told my husband that Revenue Canada has suing him for unpaid taxes.Than he said that he is sending police to our house.
Does Revenue Canada work after hours on Friday?
A man (with Hindu accent) posing as CRA rep called from 613-209-4846 on 04/22/2016 @ ~11:00, and told me that I am being sued for tax evasion and action are being taken against me. I explained to him exactly what do to himself and his mother. Don't get intimidated by these scammers.
A man (with a Hindu accent) posing as a CRA officer called on 04/25/2016 @ 10:05, requesting to speak to a dead man regarding his tax evasion and that actions are taken against him. Told him to go to hell if he wanted to arrest my father.
I received the same call this morning at 7 am! He said he was from revenue Canada. I told him I could not understand him and he hung up. Looked back at call display and this number has called numerous times. One day it was 5 times!
They have called me at least 3 times - last time was 7 a.m. this morning. The 1st time they called, I picked up & told them that Revenue Canada & the local PD had advised me that this is a scam. Prior to this they used the office RC phone # to call them back. They are getting very sneaky. I also said I don't what the **** you're talking about & hung up. Why do we waste our time putting our numbers on the "do not call" list, it obviously does not work. R E A L L Y F E D U P.
