Same guy called me today. He said that he was calling from the Revenue Office and his name was Austin Smith, although he had a South East Asian accent. He mentioned his "Badge number" was BS9320 and his CRA employee number was 31129. He even gave me a case number.

Got a call on 4/29/2016 @ 9:22am. Call display showed, " V42909220100110 1-613-209-4846". Guy with Asian/oriental accent introduced himself as from the CRA and he wanted some of my information. Told him that if he is from the CRA then I am GOD and to not call me again. Click! Sadly they will.
Parents received 4 calls on April 28 and 3 calls on April 29. I am actually a CRA employee and am well aware of the scams that are going on these days. A woman named "Leyam" from "CRA" said she needed my lawyer's name, as they are taking legal action against me for tax evasion. First of all, she did not ask for anyone specifically.. there are five people living in this household. She was very rude when I told her that she is not from CRA and that I would be reporting her. I also told her that CRA calls come up as Government of Canada on Caller ID and not as V42911510200100. I told her I was a CRA employee and she had the audacity to ask me for my name and badge ID no. I am guessing she thought I would be stupid enough to give it to her so that she could use my name and badge ID.. This is so ridiculous.. People beware!!!!!!
