SCAM. They called from this number claiming to represent Shriners. They said I have contributed in the past and asked how much they could out me down for. I have never contributed to Shriners.
It is a Shriner's number. I get calls at various times through the year for their projects - good ones, but I can only contribute so much in a year and have other groups I support.
Caller with heavy Indian accent identified himself as Revenue Canada and said that I was being charged with Tax Fraud and Tax Evasion. When I told him that he was incorrect he mumbled something about me getting another call in 45 minutes and hung up.
