I just got a call from this number. Let it go to answer machine. The guy claimed to be from CRA and mentioned my name. He also went onto say that there was a complaint file. I picked the phone up and told him to not call anymore. I know this is a scam. The imbecile swore back at me in his language. Sad for him, I understood and gave a piece of my mind.
I never ever bother with these idiots but today, thought I'd pick the phone up and at least confront them.
The imbecile was an Indian guy who obviously has a restriction on his vocabulary to scam words and swearing.
Wish I could confront them face to face. These kind of scum are worse than animals!! complete waste of space & time!!!
I had two messages from this number claiming I have a warrant against by name filed by the CRA and basically to call and plead my case. He had a thick Indian accent and referred to himself as Robert smith..I'm Indian and he definitely sounded Indian...not many Indians with that kind of western name. Ignore the idiot and notify CRA and the Police like I did. Only way to stop this kind of harassment and scamming
We received a scam voice-message from the same number, a guy with very heavy Indian accent mentioning my wife's first and last name and that she is being investigated for a complaint, he left the number 613-518-8043, we called the number and nobody is answering will the forum posted following reporting the incident to Toronto Police.
