Got a voice mail (?) from an Officer (mumbled name) that I must record this call or have my lawyer record this call (yeah, I just happen to keep my lawyer in the broom closet, let me go get him) and I Must Call this number back then speeds through a 416-??? number and then warns me that if I don't call back he will issue a Good Luck........(huh? What the heck is a Good Luck?).....I reversed the member and of course it's a fake number showing as Kingston Ontario.......I am sure that if you called it you would get charges on your phone for LD call to the Phillipines as his accent was bad, he kept mixing his m,b and p sounds up. And officer of what? How stupid do they think we are. This was so stupid it was hilarious.

We just got this same call from 613-689-4078 said he was Officer James Morrison and the hotline to his division is 613-689-4078. They also said if we don't respond or have my lawyer respond, then all he could do is "a wish you a Good Luck" . Major prank, I got a similar call months ago, but said they were from Canada Revenue Agency, same type of threats though. Crazy, I just hope no one falls prey to these scammers.
Local tv station just posted on the news banner at noon today that so far this year 1,100 Canadians have been scammed by this group. And that is just the people who have come forward. Unbelievable!
