Got a call from this number claiming to be from immigration Canada. He was an unprofessional guy with a thick Indian accent. When I told him to stop scamming people he hung up on me.
They are spoofing legitimate numbers in order to seem real.
Posted add for vehicle on a free site at 9pm. By 3pm the next day sales rep. from Ottawa Citizen called to get my jeep listed in their classified adds.

Called me as well and asked me if I received a call from the RCMP. Then they also told me that a claim was filed against me in regards to Immigration. I was pissed off and told them to stop calling as well and then they hang up.
However they have ALL your info, name and address......pretty scary dudes out there.
my hubby picked up, they ask for me ..we got a call saying he was from immigration Canada.. thick Indian accent [***] up to the eyeballs... BEWARE PEOPLE!! lots of scammers out there!! they are telling people to call back.. careful cause there might be a charge if you call them back.. not sure what their game is??
