Got a call from this number claiming to be from immigration Canada. He was an unprofessional guy with a thick Indian accent. When I told him to stop scamming people he hung up on me.
They are spoofing legitimate numbers in order to seem real.
same thing just happened to me! Also told me a claim filed against me! They also asked me if I received a call from police department... Indian accent, very hard to understand what he was saying...Told him it was a scam and hung up on him...BE CAREFUL!!!
