His accent was very strong - maybe Chinese - and he said there was a legal charge against me. He said that he worked for the CDC (?) and it had something to do with the Canadian Border. He wanted me to write down the information, including his name
( which I couldn't understand). I told him I was going to hang up, that if he had legitimate business he would not be phoning me. I said good bye and hung up. I notice from my message history that he has phoned two other times when I was not at home.
I receive a Call today in english I ask him if he speak french, he say no. and ask me how long I was in canada????. He told me he call from england ???. I tell him this is a personal info and I will not give it to him if I couldn't know from were he are calling me. and if it's an official call them will speak me in french ... he hung up
Received call from 6139466666 saying calling from border security and there are charges against me. just hung Up. and found that it is SPAM , upon calling phone buster , they says crime not happens so they can not take any actions. beware and stay alert
I received a call from an Indian guy with an Indian accent stating his name is Jack Martian regarding immigration and would not say why he is calling. His line was cutting out and I could not fully understand why he is calling and he eventually hung up.
This East Indian dude called me 2 times leaving voice mails using my full name claiming that I was under investigation by the CRA for Tax evasion. I just received my refund 3 weeks ago. LOL. He said he was agent Dan Murphy. They must be overseas as the voice quality on the call was cracking and noisey. My wife gave me [***] for not completing my taxes properly when she heard the voice messages. Thank God for all the kind people using internet forums to expose these scam artist. I will not be calling Dan Murphy back. Sorry.....
