I am a physician. I carry a cell phone whose ONLY purpose is to receive emergency calls from patients wearing automated portable life support equipment. There has NEVER been any credit card or any other account associated with this number This cell phone is called 4-6 times a day from number 614-283-3356. We have complained to the DO NOT CALL system. The complaint has not stopped the calls. If a TRUE emergency were to occur while the cell phone was busy answering one of these scam calls, a life could be placed in jeopardy. If this ever happens, we will ask that criminal charges be filed. Local police officials are aware. They can do nothing until a life is actually endangered. It won't be long until this occurs if these non-stop calls continue. Changing the number is next but this will involve reprogramming over 2,200 life monitors. Maybe we will go after the cost of this Where is government intervention when it is really called for?
yes- this woman calls- asks for a first name like she's your buddy. when i asked her who she was calling from- she says she does not have to tell me who. i said to her i don't talk or reveal info on anyone unless she identifies who she is. she said this is a business matter and WOULD NOT tell me who she was with. She is calling from Discover card. Isn't that real PROFESSIONAL??? what a witch! I told her I did not know the person. she got pushy and assumed she would get more info from me. i told her i did not knopw the person and said she was ery rude. she hung up!
Started getting calls today. Haven't answered them. No name, no number I know. Seems to me I was getting these calls about a year ago. Let em call but I won't answer. Glad I found this web ite.
