They returned my call using the Ohio number
I just recieved an unsolicited from that number 1-614-396-5033 for debt help, wierd! I told the lady I didnt' need any help and I was paying my bills just fine. she said she would remove my info, I think they are just fishing.
Was at my mother's house when "Paul" from Debt Help called this morning saying she had requested their help on her debts. She had not--I asked her while they were on the phone. Since she didn't ask, nor did I, I told Paul someone was lying. He immediately got rude... said 'no one has time for this kind of thing this early in the day' and claimed he was holding a request in his hand. I tried to tell him we were on the do not call list, but he hung up after he had HIS say. I called the number back and got a female. Asked her the name of the company "Debt Help" and their location "Columbus, Ohio". I told her I wanted to speak to Paul and why. She put me on hold for a couple of minutes, but I didn't give up. Finally she came back and asked if I wanted to speak to the manager "Mr. Lewis". He came on the phone and I calmly told him what Paul had said and done. I also asked how he'd gotten my mother's number. He claimed it came from a "third party" which he "was not at liberty to tell me because of a non-disclosure agreement". Yeah, right. I told him that if Paul was representative of the way they did business, I'd NEVER do business with them--even if I needed it. I went on to say we were on the national Do-Not-Call list and if I ever got a call from anyone from his company again, I'd report them to any agency I could find. I also threatened to file suit against him. Don't think I won't. I really believe these are scam artists, even though they are listed with the Columbus Better Business Bureau... who I also filed a complaint with! hehe.
Do not want this #614-396-5033 calling my phone. They have about 4 times in the last 24hrs. I have ask them to stop and they keep calling. I do not want what they are marketing. Please help
