Obviously telling them does not work. You now have 2 solutions. Find out where they are located and send them a certified, return receipt letter telling them to put you on their internal and external do not call list and to mail you a copy of their written DNC policy as required by law. Or you can simply buy a call blocker, call blocking phone, use your carrier's call blocker service, or download a free call blocking app for cell phones.
In either case you should report them to both the DNC list and your state attorney general's office.
Got a call from this number a guy asking for me by name and claiming to be from DebtHelp said I had contacted them for debt help recently and I said no I did not and he said yes ma'am you did and I said take my name off your list I have no debt and hung up on me.
I got a call from 614-396-5033. The person left a message for "Ricky" to call 888-254-4516 about an application. I thought that I would be nice and let them know that the number is wrong. However, I noticed that my phone already had the 888 number from a few months ago. I remember that the same thing happened once before where I did call back to let the person know that they had the wrong number.
