I ask the Ohio State Highway Patrol about this Troopers Coalition and they told me they know nothing about them, so as far as I'm concerned its a scam.
Soliciting for your money which goes to the Coalition not the troopers! On the internet it says less than 10% of the money pledged or paid goes to the non-profit for programs or to assist actual troopers!
Just another begging call from a scam organization. Half-mumbled the entire script and botched my name. If the Troupers sincerely need money that isn't given to them by the government of this state, then I suggest they start backing the other party - the one who ISN'T ripping the funding out of their officer's pockets.
Answered this call with "hello" three different times and could tell there was a live person there but they didn't say anything. Thanks to the other poster that did the research about the amount actually given. Seems like a really good idea to look up these stats and do your own research before giving anybody any of your hard earned money,
