They call about every week and it's AEP wanting us to change over to their service. They want to be another broker like the water company did and gas company too. Get the same junk by snail mail AND from Ohio Edison telling us not to forget there are other companies available for the product, like AEP. Nothing more than another way to get around laws on the books to protect us from that kind of scam.
Hung up without leaving a message. Would not surprise me if it is some shady company wanting to be an electric power broker. I doubt it would be AEP, First Energy or one of the principals, but rather some sleazy broker in the middle who does not honor the DNC and would be happy to screw over people dumb enough to change their power broker without doing any research.
Newer type of robo call system (sort of a false start then goes into sales pitch. Said it was for Ohio Troopers. With the other comments on here about AEP, etc. I'd day it is telemarketers. JUNK all the same.
