This number(614)465-1661 says Pastor Parsley on the caller ID, and the call three times a day! It is very anoying to my 76 year old mother. She feels that they are harrasing her. What can be done to make them STOP!!
You are correct, a simple phone call and polite request is all that was needed. But I doubt there is anything really anti-religeous about the posts: read any post about unsolicited calls and they are all the same: irate. But why should we have to put up with 3 or more calls a day, every day until we are driven to do something? These callers should desist after a certain period. By the way; the lady sounded like a recorded message and I had to - politely - interject so she would speak to me about why I had called; I would expect a polite enquiry back about why I had called. But she was very pleasant and we'll see if I am taken off the calling list. But to conclude that people are commenting as they because it is a Pastor or religion based is a red herring.
No friend of mine put or gave my name to any one. This is not what it seems to be. I know of course you would have an answer or suggestion of why they would b callin.
If this is a true ministry, they have no idea how irritating they are. Im 76 years old, a retired minister, with over 50 years ministring to my parish and would never call people, just to harrass them. These people are sick and need counseling, to say the least.
