Declined the call, went to voice mail. A brief burst of static then nothing for 2 minutes. I've had several of these types of calls lately, from several different numbers in different parys of the country.
Called Mar 1, 2014, listed as Unknown Caller at 6:34 pm. I never answer the phone and have turned off my answering machine. I live in the Portland, Oregon area.
We had several calls a day, so I finially answered just to see who could be so obnoxious. At first you might think its a stright up poll, but as I got down through the different questions, it was really a "push poll" by a local Republican city councilman, who is running for congress against a Democract. Push polls are a real slimey technique first used by Nixon and later developed by political opperative Lee Atwater for Bush Sr. Karl Rove was a protege of Atwater.
Recieved calls from this number EVERY DAY atleast three or four times a day . Recieved them even on Sunday. Here is what I did, two days ago. I got out a sports whisle I blew it as hard and as loud and long as I could. Then I hung up called them right back,and when their answering machine came on I blew it again and followed that up by giving them a piece of my mind as loudly as I could. I don't know what happened but I have not gotten calls from them or anyone else in the telemarket business.
