Has been calling several times a day for a couple of weeks. First time they called, I answered, and was told by someone with a foreign accent they were with a security alarm system. I didn't believe them and hung up. I've never answered the phone again when this number appears. I plan to report it to the Attorney General.
Several calls from this number, I pick up and no one responds, dead silence. Called the number back today and it is a Verizon number that is changed, disconnected or no longer in service. Really!
I also have been receiving calls several times a day and ignore them. But today I was curious as to who was calling, so I answered. Totally bogus. Caller said he was Richard from a vendor working with AT&T and wanted to offer me a free upgrade. I don't have an AT&T account, but played along. He wanted to know if I would be home tomorrow for someone to come and inspect my equipment to see if I qualified for the upgrade. I was waiting for him to verify my address, but the call disconnected. DO NOT ANSWER - TOTAL SCAM AND POTENTIAL THREAT OF THEFT OR HARM TO PERSONAL PROPERTY
