They're BAACK.........New number this time. Moved from Area Code 313 now to 616. Asked for me by my little known nickname. How they got it is beyond me. Older sounding lady. I asked "who's calling"........she hurried up and said .........oh that's ok, I'll call back later I just wanted to ask her something then she hung up. I've got this new number on my call blocking. I wish they would include "Hustler" or "Scammer" that I could check under CALL TYPE
First, for all of the people on here who have written they did not answer the call; caller hung up; etc. - why did you bother posting this? You are telling people absolutely NOTHING about the phone call because you don't know ANYTHING about the call. Secondly, all charities are exempt from the "Do Not Call" list. So are political organizations such as the Democratic Party, Republican Party, and your local congressman who calls and wants you to join a teleconference call at a town hall meeting. All of these are EXEMPT from the Do Not Call list guidelines. Lastly, there is NO, I repeat NO charity known as "United Breast Cancer". Check Charity Navigator. Nothing. So in essence, these are scammers calling, pretending to be a charity, thus circumventing the Do Not Call list guidelines. They are scammers and just want your credit card number. Period. So as Nancy Reagan would say, "Just say no."
CID said United Breast C. I don't answer any calls I don't know. These "charities" all start out the same. Call you by name and then tell you "boy you sure are hard to get a hold of". Could be because I don't answer any of these BS calls.
