I received a voicemail from a Laurie Groan or Goran and asked to call back at 616-217-4999 x18 regarding my defaulted student loans and to prevent wage garnishment. I called back and spoke with her and she was trying to sell me on going with their program and skipping the middle man for student loan repayment. She asked me for my birth date and social security number. I told her I wasn't giving her that information and that I wasn't interested and she hung up on me before I was done with my sentence. Total scam. Do not fall for it!!
I have received numerous phone calls and voicemails from some company saying they are a law firm and I was behind on my student loans I needed to give them a call back at 616-217-4999 so they can help me with not having my wages garnished. When I called back it said all representatives are busy at the moment and the phone line hangs up. I have read reports about this number and its a scam.

This company called my cell phone saying I was in default of student loans and all I had to do was pay $110 for 7 months. All I needed was a debit or credit card and I could get started. I told them I had to get an account and I would call them back.....yeah right!!!!! Total scam saying they are Obama forgiveness program!!!!
This phone number called me stating that I had over $140,000 in student loans when I don't even have a total of $10,000 left. When I told her all of her information was wrong, she hung up on me. This is a total scam! DON"T GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION!!!
