They called twice, the second time I answered it & it was a guy who could barely speak english asking for me. Then he asked if I still own my year & make of vehicle & proceeded to tell me they have lowered their rates for current customers. That's when I hung up (biting my tongue mind you!) I talk to my insurance agent regularly & these people are NOT affiliated with them AT ALL!! It's a scam! These people should not be allowed to call.
Minime is "spot on". Mine was a female with a very heavy accent. She claimed I called them for an insurance quote.She even wanted to argue with me about it. I have had the same insurance man for the last 25 years and there is no way in he** I was giving her any information. I yelled at her for a bit and then hung up.For what it's worth I have an unlisted number and am on the do not call list.
I keep getting annoying calls from this number and they call at least 4 times a day. I called the number back for the first time today and I recieved an answering machine stating I reached extension 76.
This is way out of control and want it to stop. How can I block them?
Calls several times a day claiming to be auto insurance, cable, or credit card ppl. I've asked them to take me of their calling list to no avail! Can someone please help?
