Caller ID says "BCBS MA" but the call is actually from "SQM Group", a company that is contracted by caller service centers (such as BCBS's) to perform automated surveys after you have had to deal with a customer service center.
The problem is, their (SQM's) automated survey is broken! My response to their first question was a "1", which I pressed, more than once, but their system failed to recognize it. Their system is totally brain-dead and got stuck in a loop.
I called the number back and put myself on their (SQM's) DoNotCall list.
I am also reporting them to the FCC for operating a non-working recorded automation system.
In a way it's too bad ... because I really wanted to give them my feedback after my conversation earlier today with BCBS.
received several calls after normal business hours from someone with a foreign accent. Wanted to know if I called a 617 number recently. If this is a survey about Blue Cross whoever came up with this idea should be fired. Also this call was made to my cell phone which costs me minutes.
Caller ID says "BCBS MA". I take the call. It is an automated survey. I had called Blue Cross earlier in the day. This was a survey about my experience.
At one point they ask if they can share the results with Blue Cross; this seems to back up another poster's claim that it is a 3rd party doing the survey for Blue Cross.
