Just got a call today from this number. Recorded message about lowering my interest rates. Stayed on the line to talk to an individual. Requested to be removed from their calling list. They just hung up on me.
I got a call from 617-531-2654 today. I went through the hoops to talk to someone. I asked the name of the company and she said, "Coash & Roarch". I asked her to spell it and she said she'd spell it after I qualified. I asked why she couldn't spell it right then. She said I sounded shady, and hung up on me.
They constantly call and leave a message over and over and over about lowering interest rates. They say to press 3 to be taken off the call list, but of course that don't work. I'm getting VERY sick of these calls EVERY DAY. I would love to know their home numbers.
I too received a phone call from this number. It was the same recording that another person here received about lowering interest rates on my credit cards due to the Obama stimulus package. I pushed a number to talk to someone. The woman who came on the line spoke so fast I couldn't understand what she said. I asked her what company she worked for. She repeated herself even more quickly, ending with a question that sounded like "you wanna lower your interest rates?". Strangely enough, before I could finish asking her to speak more slowly so I could understand her (and, from her point of view, possibly give her some business), she hung up on me, which I found to be rather rude.
I hate all calls of this ilk. But I was willing to hear her initial pitch even though I had no intentions of giving her any bit of my credit card info--if I even have any. I have had similar calls like this one in the past, and they act like they know what credit cards I have when they are really just fishing for the information and account details. So I didn't get anywhere with this one. But, in similar calls in the past, I realized they have no way of knowing whether I even have credit card accounts much less have the ability to change anything on the alleged accounts, such as the interest rates. I assume this call would have been along the same lines if the woman had not hung up on me....and for no reason (yet), I might add. I get very tired of receiving these types of calls. They're nothing but scams and come at the most inconvenient times of the day and night. Definitely stay away from this one.
I get calls from this number daily. First I am warned that this will be my last opportunity to take advantage of an offer. When I have gotten to a person and request to be removed from the call list the telemarketer rudely hangs up on me. When I've asked to speak to a manager, I get the same response. I feel harrassed by these callers.
