I just received a phone call from this number from a woman saying I owe Verizon $89 from an account in my name and social that is from 1994 that was paid on until 2000 and something. When I insisted that she send me something in writing because I never had an account with Verizon, she tried to argue with me and tell me that she couldn’t send me anything in writing. When I insisted, she said that they could not do that, and then she asked me if I lived at my address, which she did have correctly on file. After some arguing back and forth, she asked me point blank if I was going to pay it or not, and I asked her again if she was going to send me something in writing and she said no, so I said, well no then, I am not going to pay money to a stranger over the phone who called me about an account that I consider to be fraudulent. She told me to have a nice day and hung up. Oh, and during the course of the argument, when I told her I would not give money to pay for anything over the phone to a cold call to a stranger I knew nothing about, she said she wasn't trying to get money from me, she was trying to help me and arrange a payment plan for the Verizon account in my name. Isn't that the same as trying to get money from me?
They have called my business for 9 years asking for Scot Gasick. I work alone and have never had an employee. I don't know who this Scot is but these morons keep calling. I once pretended to be an attorney to learn that the parent company is in California, Askinall and Adler.

Call received from this number asked a family member who answered to give them to verify my social security number. Offered no explanation for why they were asking. They were given no information but instead told to call back again in three hours.. let's see if they do; I'm ready for them now; thanks for the posts. (SRS or SDS was the announced company name; didn't quite catch it.)
