Last scam call attempted to speak names using a synthesized voice to legitimize the call. Tactic employed this time { given the name speech was horrible } is to "speak" a case number instead.
Bates/Blackburn Scam. Ignore and block these calls.
Thomas Bates/Richard Blackburn/ Legal Mediation Solutions scam
Sometimes ID themselves as Premier Financial Group. No official record of them anywhere that I can find.
The Bates/Blackburn personas go around making threats. Sometimes they pretend to be an attorney.
Many times they use the group name of Legal Mediation Solutions or some similar-sounding variant.
Long history of scamming on 800notes.
They also use the name “Imperial Processing Solutions”.
They once gave out an address on 800notes.

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them. Tell 'em no scammy debt collector is going to push you around.
A man's voice left this message on my phone today. It came from a local number 734-794-7228. This is the message: "This confirmation message is to inform you that you have a legal matter pending against you within the next 24 hours. To make your statement against this claim, which could result in garnishment of your wages or a civil judgement, you must contact Thomas Driclur at 618-216-1501. Reference your case number 1102227. For immediate assistance, please press one." I have reported this scam to the authorities.
I got a call from 727-493-9053 on Tuesday, 4/12/16 with the same message, "This confidential message is to inform you that you have a legal matter pending to be filed against you within the next 24 hours to make your statement against this claim which could result in garnishment or a civil judgment you must contact Thomas Blackman at 618-216-1501 reference your case number. 1102 631 for immediate Assistance, Please Press 1"
