Add another scam call on the pile. Call initiated from a local number but requests a callback to 618-216-1501.
Last scam call attempted to speak names using a synthesized voice to legitimize the call. Tactic employed this time { given the name speech was horrible } is to "speak" a case number instead.
I got a call from 630-521-5035 - a local number - saying to call Thomas Blackburn at the 618-216-1501 number to contest a filing against me. They don't warn you if you're being served, they just show up and serve you. So this is ridic and a scam. I'm not calling them back because it's pointless and they will just be rude and insulting and refuse to validate the debt, but claim I will owe thousands of dollars in attorney fees if it goes to court, etc etc etc. It's probably for a debt that isn't even legal to collect on, if there was even a debt to begin with.
I got this call this morning. ARS Solutions calling from 714.294.5157 (local to me number) to call Thomas Blackburn @ 618-216-1501 (Illinois number). I rang back. They were looking for a Josh/Joseph Nozack. I said; "This is a scam." The lady said is this Joseph? I said, "No, this is a scam." She hung up on me. Thank you for the information. Have reported them.
Did anyone notice on the voice mail they leave you they don't say your name. They just say they have a legal matter pending and blah blah blah and to call that Thomas Blackburn.
They call from 303-479-3217 but in the VM left (recorded message from them) tells you to call Thomas Blackburn at 618-216-1501...Well I don't owe any one any money so I know this was not a call for me. I tried calling back both numbers but no one wants to talk to me to remove my number, so I have reported them to the FCC with both numbers and letting the FCC know it is an VoIP number as well. ARS Solutions is the name they say when you call the 303 number back but they will continue to disconnect you, took me 6 calls to get an idiot to finally answer the call but got absolutely no where when I asked them to remove my number so I filed a complaint against them with the FCC. If you file a complaint with the FCC the more information you can give them the better, so write down numbers, dates, times and any names as ALL information is extremely helpful to them.
