First time I post something in craig's list and this person gave me the same story as all of you! Luckily I asked friends and they said to google the phone number! Thank you for everyone's story... This was extremely helpful!
Texted me about something I was selling on Craig's List. Then proceed to tell me they cannot do cash and I should set up a paypal and send them the email address I set up the paypal account with. They will put money into the account and send someone to pick up the item and they were fine with not viewing the item in person. They trusted me and knew they would be happy with the item so were happy to proceed with the transaction. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!
Ok, so you said they put money into your account and sent someone to pick up the item. Isn't that pretty legit? Someone paid for item, someone came and picked up item? Regardless of seeing it in person (i.e. most of ebay items aren't seen in person)? Did they tell ebay that they never received the item and wanted their money back?
PQ, This phone number sends the same/similar text to thousands of people on the craiglist. When they say they will pay you and pickup your item they are trying to deceive you in thinking that they are legit - that is the SCAM - this person is not a genuine buyer but will try to trick you at some point if you go along with them. I don't know how they will do it but I am not going to find out.

This person tried to do the same with me trying to buy a bed off me without even wanting to see it and ONLY pressed the issue for pay pal. DONT TRUST THIS IDIOT.
