Same thing was happening to me. They called me at 6:21AM, 6:42AM, and 6:56AM today. I just added them to my "blocked numbers" on my iPhone. If you create a contact with their number, you can block them. I'll see if this works. Good luck everyone.
No matter what their spiel is... Calmly tell them that it is a government number that is bring recorded and to remove it from any lists and that any further calls will be escalated. I did that a few months ago when they called from 3:45am to 5am.
Figured it was a scam call but answered it anyway, it was, said he was from Microsoft, I let him run through his spiel and acted concerned that my computer was compromised then hung up on him, he called me back and said we were disconnected, I told him I hung up intentionally because he's a scammer, he told me I was a liar, I told him to F off and as he started cussing me out I hung up a second time.
When I'm not too busy I now answer these scam calls to waste their time, figure it's the least I can do to help put these bottom feeding scumbags out of business.
They are running some kind of supposed 'Windows' computer scam and sound Asian. They must have called me about 20 times in last two weeks. Now, I hopefully have them successfully blocked. Also, they seem able to send out some kind of electronic signal which has the unfortunate effect of erasing the prior call history on my caller ID device.
Re 619-584-0093, they call me at least 5 times a day. I do not answer the phone if I do not recognize the number. I do not know who this "scam" is, but wish it would stop. I am reporting this to AT&T.
