Just finished trouble shooting with comcast tech support for internet. Minutes later right when chat ends I received a phone call from stating he was from Microsoft, and my computer has a malice virus.
Phone rang about 10 times then they hung up. When its numbers that i don't know, I come here before answering. They hung up before I could get the number in. Next time the get the on/off treatment just so i don't have to listen to the phone ring. Nothings said Nothing lost:)
I got two calls last night and one just moments ago. Last night there was no sound nor messages but today a Indian young lady named Tracy said called telling me my computer was compromised & needs to be addressed. After telling her she was scamming me, she acted confused as why I was saying that & said she was with Microsoft Windows technical monitoring system & that my computer had become compromised. I told her I worked for Microsoft (not true) and she hung up. How is it we can't get this stopped?!!
