A woman called asked if this was such and such company, address and still had X employees. I was stupid and said yes and asked who this was and she hung up. It's a land line in Wichita, KS area. Cant get through. Just hangs up. Don't answer her questions!
A women call me last night on 4/9/15. She said she was calling from chamber of commerce. She asked did we still have 2 employees. I said yes like a fool.
Whomever I was talking to referred to herself as 'la quisha" and she asked me if the location of my business was **** and I replied no and with the correct address and she started asking who my owner was and who all the employees were and when I said hold on the owner is right here who am I speaking with and she replied with "the chamber of commerce" and hung the phone up. Very rude and unprofessional.
We received the exact same fake Chamber call. The questions were intrusive, especially when she wanted to know the name of the second one in charge. When I asked her a question as to why she wanted that info, she hung up. SCAMMERS.
Woman started asking questions about my business, address, owners name and number of employess. I asked her who she was with and she replied American Chamber. After asking what she needed info for she hung up.
Scammer!
like everyone else started asking questions about the company. Asked who was calling all she said was Chamber of Commerce. I have NEVER had anyone from any Chamber of Commerce act like that over the phone. They are usually very professional. Dang scammers!
