Received a call from this number through our company switchboard. When I answered there was no one on the line. After the 3rd hello an odd sounding individual asked where he was calling? Are you kidding me - you don't know who you've called. I immediately hung up on him believing him to be a solicitor. Cannot believe they would call a corporation. I thought collectors could not harrass people at work. I know it's not for me but probably should have found out who they were looking for. Will ask if they call again which looking at the posts here they most likely will.
March 18 Th and April 8, 2010 Called claiming to be a collector for Capitol One bank card service.
Since I don't owe Capitol One a dime I told the woman who called she had the wrong person and she told me I would have to give her my Social Security Number and date of birth, I said NO!
The call is a Kansas area code 620 but the company she claimed to be with is located in Va.
