called and left a vm stating that they are trying to get verify my information and for me to call back. uh...if you have my CELL PHONE NUMBER, you have all of my information. perhaps if the messages weren't so mysterious I would call back. after reading the previous posts, I won't be speaking with, I think her name was amber ugh!!!
never had a debt that i didn't pay...credit report got screwed due to someone with a similar name....now calls wont stop....student loans i never had...cell phones i never had....etc....check your credit report if you continue to get harrassed...could be the same problem i have been dealing with for months...for debts belonging to someone else!!!!!
Got a call from 6206658721 caller ID read INTL HOMES I answer no one on the other end. After O Google the number it belons to NCA a Collection Office. Is this against the law to call under a name besides the NCA. Don't the company know that some people don't answer unknown numbers.
This is a scam. Ask them to send whatever evidence they have of this debt to you in writing. That usually stops the calls. They have been doing it to me and threatening to have me arrested. You can't be arrested for a debt. There is no debtor's prison anymore. They will stop calling me for a couple of months and then start over again. I usually tell them again that I can't be arrested and send evidence of the debt in writing so I can dispute it. They stop...
