called and left a vm stating that they are trying to get verify my information and for me to call back. uh...if you have my CELL PHONE NUMBER, you have all of my information. perhaps if the messages weren't so mysterious I would call back. after reading the previous posts, I won't be speaking with, I think her name was amber ugh!!!
this number called, no message, when I called them back, the machine answered that I may recieve a summons for a law suit...wtf does that mean? well based on the other posts, it must be a collection agency...well all I can say is good luck
We've been getting calls from these people for 3 or 4 years...In 2007,I was able to trace it to a woman in Hutchison, KS, who works out of her home for this agency...Same outfit, but a different 620 phone number...Her husband has his own real estate web page...He was nailed for real estate fraud in Kansas...He was trying to sell houses that the owners did not have up for sale ... After we found out this info, the next time she called, we called her by her real name...She began cursing and hung up ... We didn't hear from them for quite a while, then it started again...Sometimes a few times a day, sometimes only once per week...I had the info on my old computer but no longer have it...
I received a call and these redneck yahoos are looking for someone named Kevin Caldwell. Apparently my number is tied to this deadbeat. I called and talked to a very rude Jackie Fagan in Hutchinson KS. My next step is to look up the presidents name on consumerist dot com and harrass them enough to remove my phone number. She called me a deadbeat for not paying my bills, which now makes her a LIAR. Now I think I have even more ammunition for the harrassment lawsuit. We should unite and file a class action suit for those that are being harrassed for getting stuck with the number that belonged to someone else.
Whoever is calling has never left a message. When I call the phone number back, it asks for a specific extension or to press "0" for the operator and then the phone eternally rings. This is my business cell phone and the calls must stop.
