I picked up on this call. It was some disabled veterans relief group or more likely a paid fund raiser. It appeared to be a recording because when I tried to break into his speech he kept on talking. Could hear a lot of other people talking in the background as well. This might have been a legitimate fund raising campaign, or not. What I've found in the past is that if it is a legitimate fund raiser they will continue to call daily. If you get the recording handlers attention and ask to be put on their do not call list the calls will stop. I did that during this call and a recording came on saying "Putting on do not call list." . They then disconnected. Did notice that the caller asked "can you hear me?" which is something a scammer would ask to get you to say "yes" so they can say you agreed to something. Guess I wait now to see if they continue to call. If I get more calls then I will know it isn't legitimate and I can have some fun having a battle of wits with an unarmed person. Great game especially when they figure out what you are doing.
I hate to break the news to you bucko, but if you were born here you are not an immigrant. Your ancestors may have been, but your not. This caller comes from India, collecting (says they are) for police officers assoc. Scam
