Called and left same message as others received. Said if I don't call back or my attorney contacts them they will wishe good luck as the situation unfolds on me lol. Gtfo
I'm Canadian, haven't been to the U.S. since a shopping trip 25 years ago. (never been back) They called me with a robo-message, claims to be the I.R.S. and that a criminal lawsuit has been filed against me. This is hilarious, I and my parents were born in Canada.
Same robo call and left message stating that a lawsuit from the IRS was filed against me and for me or my attorney to call them back asap. It is obviously a scammer call, but I was bored so I called them back to waste their time. They claimed that I owed the IRS $3,697.74; however, they could not verify my name or any personal information about me even though they claim to be the IRS and had my account pulled up in front of them. When I lied and told them that I work for the IRS, they hung up on me.
