Called, asked for the owner, said not in, can I help you.
Went into their scripted cc processing deal.
Told them, we only take cash and checks. We have no need for cc processing.
Discussed back and forth about giving our customers another way to pay for things.
Told them, I don't believe in charging plastic and having debt with big companies.
Pay cash/check or go somewhere else for our products.
Seemed a bit taken back about that.
This # (1-626-521-5664) has called me twice now in last 2 days; never leaves a MSG on my answering machine, but my caller ID reads: "Crescent"; have now BLOCKED this #, but have no clue WHO they are!
Called and asked if they could speak to the owner. I said NO and hung up. As I am the owner and would NEVER do business from a cold call. They are just irritating.
They are trying to get permission to come on your property and peddle credit card processing equipment. Don't bother trying to call the number back- they don't answer and they have a full voicemail box that doesn't accept messages. Not a legitimate business in my opinion. Don't bother answering the call if you have caller ID.
